There's a point where your son starts building a life of his own. The big trips get harder to organise. The weeks disappear. And the things you always meant to do together keep getting pushed back.
This is one of those things you actually go and do.
Just fathers and sons doing something worth remembering together.
Train side by side under former world champion boxer Les Sherrington and experienced Thai trainers. Pads, fitness, technique and plenty of friendly competition between father and son.
Some sons will fight. Some dads might fight. Some will simply train and stand in the corner. There's no pressure to compete. If somebody chooses to fight, they're appropriately matched, coached and cornered.
It isn't seven days locked inside a gym. We'll get out and experience Thailand together — including a live Muay Thai fight night and a father-vs-son go-kart night. Because not every competition needs gloves.
Train hard. Recover properly. Ice, sauna and recovery sessions built into the week.
You'll probably forget the sore shoulders.
That's the part you're really paying for.
This isn't a brochure fantasy. We already see it in our training — dads and sons on the pads, competing, laughing and pushing each other.
No egos. No pressure. Just good men, their boys and a former world champion in their corner.
We're not trying to toughen boys up.
